how to submit a photo album to a foothill sports facebook page

note: these instructions contain elements that are specific to microsoft windows. the process is similar for other operating systems.

If you already have an FTP client and you're familiar with FTP, use the below logon information, create a folder for the pictures and upload the pictures to the new folder. Then skip to step 7.

Otherwise:

  1. Download and install the Filezilla FTP client (free). You only have to do this once.
  2. Click Start, All Programs, FileZilla FTP Client, FileZilla
  3. type the host, username and password into filezilla.
  4. right click in the right pane and click 'create directory'.
  5. Give your folder a name. You will put your pictures in this folder. Include your full name and the name of the event. E.g. CoachBell-MtSac, or LindaCampana-Practice0929. Note that "/"s cannot be used for dates.
    name the folder.
  6. drag pictures from your computer (left pane) into the ftp folder that you just created (right pane).
  7. It is normal for it to take a long time to upload. While you're waiting, please fill out the FTP Upload Form to notify me that you've uploaded pictures. Otherwise I won't notice that you've uploaded pictures for a long time :(.
